Jackass 2 – Well this is a movie in which a bunch of guys get their nuts cracked and ass bursted for our fun…just laugh ur heart out…8.5/10

Idiocracy – Joe Bauers, the definition of “average American”, is selected by the Pentagon to be the guinea pig for a top-secret hibernation program. Forgotten, he awakes 500 years in the future. Well I hv been watchin lots of movies of late….i downloaded some 20-30 movies….Well i was looking for something different from usual hollywood flicks and ended up downloading some gr8 movies…..Since the list is quite long i vil ramify into two parts and not give too prolix reviews…here is the first one.

Borat – One of the most hilarious movies i hv watched in recent times. Its a story abt this guy called Borat who travels from kazakhastan to america to learn the traditions and customs of the americans but ends up fallin in love with Pamela Anderson…U gotta watch this one … 9/10

The Road to Guantanamo – Its the story or rather documentary of 3 British Muslims who go to Afghanistan to help the people there but end up being caught by the British-American forces along with the talibanis and are sent to the Guantanamo Bay prison,Cuba. Its depicts the suffering the guys go through while their journey as well as during their stay at the prison. 8.5/10

Perfume – Its the story about this boy who has got amazing power of smell who could recognize any scent he could smell. But in his quest for making the ultimate perfume he kills 13 girls for the scent of their body… The way in which the story has been protrayed is just amazing. 9/10

The Fountain - One of the most enigmatic films i watched in recent times….the imagination of the director is quite amazing..the cinematography is also excellent….A selected number of people will like such a film… 8/10

Hostel – “Welcome To your Worst Nightmare “…Well this was a kind of film you watch only if u have a nerve to watch such a film…If u r queasy i advise u not to watch this fiilm….Well with all the bloodshed and vivisections of human beings shown i m sure u vil fill uneasy if u hvnt gt the nerve…7/10.

The Illusionist – Welcome To the world of Illusion…If u like some magic this is the film u gotta watch…It has also got a quite an interesting storyline… A young boy falls in love with a girl that is way above his social standards along with the art of magic. Although the parents forbid them of seeing each other they cannot be split apart. Until one day they were found together and the boy was sent off…. He became a magician and traveled the world. She fell in love with another man….. The two got engaged but the boy, Eisenheim, finally meets back up with the girl and uses his powers to free her from the royal house….8.5/10

The Prestige – “A Friendship, That Became a Rivalry…A Rivalry, That Became a Battle”—> Thats the tagline of the film..This one is also based on magic but on quite a different note…Its got the story that will grip you…suspence that will thrill you….overall an awesome movie….9/10.

Here we will be dealing with interrupts in microcontrollers..
So what is an interrupt? Well as the name suggests an interrupt is a process or a signal that stops a microprocessor/microcontroller from what it is doing so that something else can happen. Let us take a day to day example of an interrupt….Say you are busy in some work like doin assignments or something..and then u get a call…so u answer the call…finish with it and go back to your original work… This example is exactly how an interrupt causes a processor to act. The main program is running, performing some function in a circuit, but when an interrupt occurs the main program halts while another routine is carried out…this is called ISR (Interrupt Service Routine) When this routine finishes, the processor goes back to the main routine again.
Well to find out how many interrupt sources your microcontroller has u have to check the datasheet of your uC…
Basically the interrupts are of two types
(1) External interrupts
(2) Internal interrupts

These can be divided into
(1) Level Triggered
(2) Edge Triggered
(3) Hybrid [The hardware not only looks for an edge, but it also verifies that the interrupt signal stays active for a certain period of time.]

Inside the controller there is a register called INTCON. Within this register there are 8 bits that can be enabled or disabled. Bit 7 of INTCON is called GIE. This is the Global Interrngupt Enable. Setting this to 1 tells the controller that we are going to use an interrupt. Bit 4 of INTCON is called INTE, which means INTerrupt Enable. Setting this bit to 1 tells the controller that the particular pin will be an interrupt pin. Setting bit 3, called RBIE, tells the controller that we will be using Port B bits 4 to 7. Now the controller knows when this pin goes high or low, it will need to stop what it’s doing and get on with an interrupt routine. Now, we need to tell the controller whether the interrupt is going to be on the rising edge (0V to +5V) or the falling edge (+5V to 0V) transition of the signal. In other words, do we want the controller to interrupt when the signal goes from low to high, or from high to low. By default, this is set up to be on the rising edge. The edge ‘triggering’ is set up in another register called the OPTION register. The bit we are interested in is bit 6, which is called INTEDG. etting this to 1 will cause the controller to interrupt on the rising edge (default state) and setting it to 0 will cause the controller to interrupt on the falling edge. If you want the PIC to trigger on the rising edge, then you don’t need to do anything to this bit. Now, unfortunately, the Option register is in Bank 1, which means that we have to change from bank 0 to bank 1, set the bit in the Option register, then come back to bank 0. The trick here is to do all of the Bank 1 registers in one hit, such as setting up the port pins, then coming back to Bank 0 when you are finished.

Ok, so now we have told the controller which pin is going to be the interrupt, and on which edge to trigger, what happens in the program and the controller when the interrupt occurs? Two things happen. First, a ‘flag’ is set. This tells the internal processor that an interrupt has occurred. Secondly, the program counter points to a particular address.

Interrupt Flag

In our INTCON register, bit 1 is the interrupt flag, called INTF. Now, when any interrupt occurs, this flag will be set to 1. While there isn’t an interrupt, the flag is set to 0. And that is all it does.

This is a simple yet effective IR proximity sensor built around the TSOP 1738 module. The TSOP module is commonly found at the receiving end of an IR remote control system; e.g., in TVs, CD players etc. These modules require the incoming data to be modulated at a particular frequency and would ignore any other IR signals. It is also immune to ambient IR light, so one can easily use these sensors outdoors or under heavily lit conditions.
Such modules are available for different carrier frequencies from 32 kHz to 42 kHz.
In this particular proximity sensor, a constant stream of square wave signal is generated using IC555 centered at 38 kHz and would use it to drive an IR led. So whenever this signal bounces off the obstacles, the receiver would detect it and change its output. Since the TSOP 1738 module works in the active-low configuration, its output would normally remain high and would go low when it detects the signal (the obstacle).

The above is the same sensor we used in mission mars for wall detection…It works reasonably well in sunlight… Ignoring some rare problems its quite good….U can get it from TRI or make one of your own…
